Biograph
Louise Bøgelund Saugmann is a Danish photo-based artist, who lives and works in Copenhagen. She is interested in analogue photography, which she uses to investigate notions of time, nature and identity.
Her hand made photo book, Quiet by nature, was published in December 2023 by the publisher, Blankt Papir Press and is currently exhibited at Gallery Arden Asbæk (Dk) and WMA i Hong Kong (CN). Her photographic work has also been exhibited in India, Finland, Sweden etc.
She graduated from The Arts Institute at Bournemouth and has since then worked as an artist, teacher and curator. She is co- founder of the artist run exhibition space KONTORprojects.
